Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival 2019
Now one of the most popular pirate festivals, Billy Bowlegs Festival started in 1953 as a water skiing festival and now takes place the first full weekend of June each year. The family-friendly event features a parade of nearly 100 floats, food, live music, and shops. Festivities take over the Landing in Fort Walton, but don’t be surprised to see pirate activity all over town.
Billy Bowlegs is a fun event for the whole family. There are tons of activities for kids as well as vendors selling pirate booty and local crafts. There will be great live music, and food vendors selling everything from ice cream to seafood. The festival is on Friday and Saturday, May 31st – June 1, 2019. The fireworks display will be on May 31st at 9:00 pm. The 2019 Torchlight Parade will be on June 3 at 7:00 pm.
