Escape from the hustle and bustle of life in this cozy three-bedroom chalet located in Wallenpaupack Lake Estates in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Whether you’re looking for a fun family weekend, relaxing vacation with your friends, or a romantic getaway, this peaceful vacation home has everything that can be desired and more. The PA Chalet sleeps 10. It offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a loft with a queen size futon, desk area with internet access, the loft over looks the living room which is complete with a gas fireplace. Also on the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. If you don't feel like cooking in the kitchen you can always barbeque on the gas grill in the screened in room. Downstairs, a furnished walkout basement includes a dining room and a TV room, additional sleep area with a queen size futon & a laundry area with a washer and dryer. Within the community, you have access to 2 outdoor and one indoor heated pool, two stocked lakes for fishing as well as a boat launch on Lake Wallenpaupack. Canoe and kayak rentals are available on Deer Lake. There is also an Adult lodge with pool tables, card tables... a family lodge with foose ball, video game systems, tennis courts, basekt ball courts, fitness center and hiking trails & skating park. Several kid playground areas can be found throughout WLE. Rental includes amenity passes that can be used at all of the WLE amenities or activities that take place in the complex. If you are looking for a family vacation in addition to the many amenities of WLE there is Claws'n Paws Zoo, hiking & biking trails, horseback riding, Carousel Water Park, drive in movies, skiing, train museums. For those that are looking for something more romantic there are wonderful restaurants, day spas, or romantic boat trips on Lake Wallenpaupack. For Girls weekend away we would recommend many of the wonderful antique shops in the area in addtion to the day spas. Guys don't feel left out. If you are looking for a weekend away- fishing guides are available on Lake Wallenpaupack. There is places within minute of the house to go quad riding,canoeing or kayaking on the BIG lake. Lake Wallenpaupack area has many festivals throughout the year. If your looking for the excitment of gambling Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs is only 35 miles away.
